RightWriter solves your writing problems. Does your writing make you sound less intelligent than it should? RightWriter can fix your grammar problems instantly and make your writing look intelligent, polished and professional.
Pros: RightWriter solves helps analyze one’s writing style and by marking up the mistakes in different categories helps improve writing in general. Overall you are then likely to be perceived as an intelligent, polished and professional individual. RightWriter is much more than a simple grammar analysis tool It analyzes your writing as a whole and finds not only grammar errors, but it warns you when it finds weak writing styles. It also shows you how to improve those weak areas. Even on a technically/grammatically correct document simply removing or changing a word can improve the meaning/intent very clear. By helping individuals to write well, it helps to avoid embarrassing mistakes, make the writing stronger and compelling, improves effectiveness at work and carries a lot more weight on your expressed opinions.
The interface is simple and the process is 3 step. Paste the document into the work area and ask for an analysis. From the tools one sets various parameters based on which analysis is done. Writing style specifies whether the document is for general public, technical or fiction. Colors for different error highlights can be customized. The error categories highlighted by the application include usage, grammar, capitalization, style, punctuation, jargon index, paragraph, Flesch-Kincaid, descriptive index, relative strength and fog. The program can detect URL links automatically too if you choose the control.
Cons: It is difficult to imagine how effective such built in analysis algorithm be meaningful. Lot of the pointers could, of course, be useful.
Overall this is an application that is at 2 star category.
And it`s because of the fact that they seem to guarded concerning their software, that I cannot recommend it. They even go so far as to only allow "members" to rate their product. Enough said.
